Glazing Inspections

Glazing Inspections are conducted by BloorIE Refurbishment Limited throughout the UK for our clients who require a survey and assessments of their glazed structures to assess the condition and any potential Health and Safety Hazards.

Our Surveying Team are trusted to conduct glazing inspections on a variety of different structures including windows, curtain wall systems, atria, rooflights, glazed malls and many more. We have a professional team trained in a variety of specialist access equipment and are eligible to reach difficult access locations utilising Mobile Platforms, Rope Access as well as on-site gantry access and cradle systems as required.

A typical glazing inspection will include an assessment of the system components including -

All glass to include glazed units and single panels inclusive
All structural and ancillary fixings;
All bar-work including transom and mullion bars and interfaces thereof;
All gasketry and weather seals
Testing and inspection of all window opening mechanisms
All silicone seals and associated weather flashings
Associated building interfaces
System Pressure plates and Cover Caps

A detailed report is submitted to the client. This includes a photographic record of any defects founds; Health and Safety implications (if any); projection and costing of future issues and remedial advice as necessary, with priority categorisation as required.

We understand that every project is different; therefore our programs are tailored to suit the individual commercial projects. We can provide single Glazing Inspection or annual ,depending on Client requirements.
