BloorIE Refurbishments Limited offers a number of preventative programme's for commercial overhead glazing maintenance including high-level glass upgrades, glass replacements and glass seal, gasket repairs, refinishing or replacement of outer aluminium polyester powder coated capping's, upgrading of the thermal and drainage performance of glazing systems and specialist seal services and cleans to any glazing installed at height.
We also offer a complete high level window and vent maintenance package, our services include: removal and replacement of defective actuators, counter balance's, window handles, hinges, locks and restricting stays. Installation of new rubber EPDM gasket weather seals, re - pointing of internal/external structural silicone perimeter seals to prevent water ingress. Upgrading of glass panels and double glazed units to ensure your glazing meets all current health and safety regulations, application of safety, privacy and bomb films, in depth cleaning and surface restoration works to high level glazing and associated framework.
We also have the capability, using advanced techniques, to apply the above services to plastic, polycarbonate or acrylic units/panels. BloorIE Refurbishment are also able to offer cost-effective repairs to UV damaged polycarbonate panels when installed within a double skin application. By separating the two skins, we are able to apply a specialist cleaning solution to the internal panel and then refit with a new external panel offering a considerable material/cost saving.
